First Time Renewal - Salesperson
Licensed prior to 10/1/2007


The requirements for a real estate salesperson renewing for the first time (if licensed before 10/1/2007) are different from the renewal requirements for all other real estate licensees. These individuals are NOT required to complete the full 45 hours of continuing education for their first renewal. Under current law, these individuals must complete separate 3-hour courses in the mandatory subjects of Agency, Ethics, Fair Housing, Trust Fund Handling and Risk Management in order to qualify for renewal.
